Holy shit, I can't express how awesome this movie is to me. Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! Filmed in glorious black & blue! I've watched it over & over again, & it never stops being a full-on joyfest. Between the stunning curvaceous women, the over-the-top dialog & the unintentionally funny action scenes, this film is a winner on every level. Highly recommended for fans of camp & cleavage.
I was lucky enough to get to speak with the director, Russ Meyer, on the phone several times before he passed away & I even got to meet him in person once at a screening of Faster Pussycat. To top it off, Russ handed me his Leica camera (all $14,ooo worth) & had me take some shots of him with it. They supposedly ended up in his book, but considering the price I may never be able to find out. If you ever want to hear some crazy stories about my time with Russ, feel free to hit me up.
